Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rachid Boniche got the match started through his kick off. Franklin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Boniche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdel Karim Aribi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Boniche in the 18th minute of the match. Rachid Boniche took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdel Karim Aribi. Abdel Karim Aribi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Franklin FC's Madhi Zaaboub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Laurent Badis in the 25th minute of play. Nasser Louahla hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Boniche in the 30th minute of play forced Lewiston AFC's goalkeeper Abdel Karim Aribi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Franklin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Matmour came free, but Madhi Zaaboub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Guillaume Laurent Badis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Franklin FC's Madhi Zaaboub. Madhi Zaaboub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abdel Dziri hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Matmour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillaume Laurent Badis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Madhi Zaaboub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdel Karim Aribi came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Franklin FC's Ismaïl Boulahfane. But to his dismay, Ismaïl Boulahfane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Abdel Karim Aribi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rachid Boniche went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ismaïl Boulahfane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillaume Laurent Badis got free with Madhi Zaaboub in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdel Karim Aribi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismaïl Boulahfane in the 72nd minute of play.
