After 14 played minutes Black Star AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelhamid Asma. In the 18th match minute, JAPONESE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Bougherra to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when René Zaaboub sped through JAPONESE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mehdi Al-Jazairia. Assia Kermali's late challenge caught a Black Star AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Assia Kermali helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes JAPONESE got a freekick which was hit by Assia Kermali. 26 minutes into the game, one of Black Star AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Djamel Bouziane hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Karim Merah fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Medjadi Soltani, passed just outside the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salim el Ibrahimi made a kick off. Medjadi Soltani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hameur Lemoui in the 67th minute of play. Medjadi Soltani came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by JAPONESE's Karim Merah. But to his dismay, Karim Merah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 76 minutes into the game, Ahmed Ramdani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JAPONESE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Star AFC the free kick. A collision led to JAPONESE getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ahmed Ramdani hit a great ball. Reda Lacen hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Medjadi Soltani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reda Lacen in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Karim Merah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Medjadi Soltani was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Halim Matoub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes, Sebastião Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JAPONESE and the Black Star AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to JAPONESE getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sebastião Machado hit a great ball. Black Star AFC's Lakhdar Belaout shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mehdi Al-Jazairia but with some difficulty. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JAPONESE fully deserved thier win.
