Mansour Bitat kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Cheb Hemdani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. Callaway AFC's Abdelaziz Zaaboub got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Blue Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Yazid Yahi came free, but Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Springs's zone, Cheb Hemdani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad came out of the goal and Cheb Hemdani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Callaway AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amar Sakhri came free, but Krim Mérah-Benida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheb Hemdani kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Callaway AFC's Krim Mérah-Benida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Callaway AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Brahim Kraouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krim Mérah-Benida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brahim Kraouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Krim Mérah-Benida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krim Mérah-Benida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amar Sakhri, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Billel Cohen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad skillfully saved the ball. Abdelaziz Zaaboub blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad having to make a save. Abdelaziz Zaaboub's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Yazid Yahi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Yazid Yahi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Billel Cohen. Krim Mérah-Benida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Belkhadem in the 62nd minute of play. When Cheb Hemdani came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Callaway AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheb Hemdani couldn't finish the play. Yazid Yahi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brahim Kraouche in the 69th minute of play forced Callaway AFC's goalkeeper Krim Mérah-Benida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Yazid Yahi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Callaway AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yazid Yahi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krim Mérah-Benida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mourad Belkhadem went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 81 played minutes Callaway AFC got a freekick which was hit by Billel Cohen. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Abdelnacer Khadra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Springs's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelnacer Khadra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krim Mérah-Benida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krim Mérah-Benida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mourad Belkhadem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Abdelaziz Zaaboub was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Callaway AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Springs the free kick. A collision led to Callaway AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Abdelaziz Zaaboub hit a great ball. Yazid Yahi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Mourad Belkhadem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krim Mérah-Benida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Yahi in the 97th minute of play forced Blue Springs's goalkeeper Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
