The audience thought a goal was coming when Souad Yahia got free with Rachid Cherfa in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cape Neddick's Rachid Cherfa got control of the ball when Souad Yahia tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Cape Neddick getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mouloud Belkheir hit a great ball. Hachemi Bougherra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Heddou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Mastic Beach's Abd el Djeziri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rachid Cherfa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mastic Beach reached it. Abdelaziz Zitouni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kader Djura. Mastic Beach's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute Souad Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Cherfa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Cape Neddick's Kader Djura threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohamed Heddou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mohamed Heddou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Mouloud Belkheir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kader Djura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Cape Neddick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Lemoui to maneuver through the defense. Hachemi Bougherra scored 1-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rachid Cherfa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 played minutes Cape Neddick got a freekick which was hit by Redha Chaib. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
