Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marrero AFC's Fateh Medjiba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mimoun Ouid Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sofiane Boulebda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fateh Medjiba in the 13th minute of play. Fateh Medjiba might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sofiane Boulebda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fateh Medjiba ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohamed Hima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofiane Boulebda having to interfere. Sofiane Boulebda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fateh Medjiba in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Fateh Medjiba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fateh Medjiba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohamed Hima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Sofiane Boulebda made a huge save. Marrero AFC's Fateh Medjiba got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Saïdi-Sief hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Rafik Zoheir Boufroura fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marrero AFC's protests and gave Rafik Zoheir Boufroura a yellow card for diving instead. Rafik Zoheir Boufroura kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Samir Akrour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamza Amara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafik Zoheir Boufroura was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 36 played minutes Marrero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rafik Zoheir Boufroura. After some careless play in the Philomath defense, Mohamed Hima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofiane Boulebda. The Philomath fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofiane Boulebda should have stopped the shot. Mohamed Hima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Mohamed Hima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Philomath getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abdelhamid El Ouafi hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samir Akrour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mohamed Hima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofiane Boulebda having to interfere. A collision led to Marrero AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mansour Yacine hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Mohamed Hima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Hima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philomath's Sofiane Boulebda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Hima in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Kamel Ihidjaten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamel Ihidjaten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohamed Hima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rabah Mazzid took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofiane Boulebda. Sofiane Boulebda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Fateh Medjiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sofiane Boulebda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Philomath got a freekick which was hit by Abdelaziz Nabil. Marrero AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
