Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Samir Meskine started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ahmed Hadj Aïssa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute Ahmed Hadj Aïssa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Zerara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Madjid Kheyari in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rachid Zerara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rachid Zerara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Hadj Aïssa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Djamel Hindi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hicham Taha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lounès Djebar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hicham Taha didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Hamid Banouas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hicham Taha having to interfere. The supporters of Rye AFC booed when Homeland AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lounès Djebar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rye AFC's Madjid Kheyari got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmed Hadj Aïssa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Zerara having to interfere. If Madjid Kheyari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Madjid Kheyari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Homeland AFC's Rachid Zerara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Madjid Kheyari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rachid Zerara having to make a save. If Madjid Kheyari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samir Meskine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Madjid Kheyari to strike the kick off in the second half. Homeland AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Ahmed Hadj Aïssa scored to the left of an out of position Rachid Zerara, making the score, 1-1. Ahmed Hadj Aïssa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Rachid Zerara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mohammad Mekhloufi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Hicham Taha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Meskine in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Rye AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Hadj Aïssa to maneuver through the defense. Ahmed Hadj Aïssa scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rachid Zerara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Homeland AFC's zone, Ahmed Hadj Aïssa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Zerara came out of the goal and Ahmed Hadj Aïssa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samir Meskine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamid Banouas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hicham Taha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Samir Meskine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Homeland AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samir Meskine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hicham Taha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rye AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
