Mohamed Medjoudj scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yazid Belkacem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Chaib charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Chaib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gladewater AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Robert Chaib hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Gladewater AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelaziz Souakri came free, but Yazid Belkacem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Mohammed Benyamina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mohamed Sadmi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ismaël Raï received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mohamed Sadmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohammed Benyamina was the one to do the kick off. When Fawzi Larbi fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Miami's protests and gave Fawzi Larbi a yellow card for diving instead. Fawzi Larbi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gladewater AFC's Ismaël Raï got a free kick in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rachid Baba Ali Firoud during the 62nd minute. The Gladewater AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yazid Belkacem should have stopped the shot. When Gladewater AFC's Cheb Lacen in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Miami's goalie prevented a goal. Mohammed Benyamina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Sadmi having to interfere. Abdelaziz Souakri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Medjoudj's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Yazid Belkacem skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abdelaziz Souakri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Belkacem having to interfere. Abdelaziz Souakri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The North Miami supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing North Miami would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
