The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdelmalek Djura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Gaouaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Mohammed Diss put in a rough tackle. 9 minutes into the game, one of Hoover FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Park Hills a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chaba Cixous, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hoover FC's Yacine Meriem. 0-1. Ahmed Harkouk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Park Hills's Abdelmalek Djura got control of the ball when Fawzi Hamdoud tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abderaouf Kaci Said kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Dida Kermali was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Park Hills's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hoover FC the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Park Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Kermali to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Faouzi Cixous managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Park Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faouzi Cixous was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yacine Meriem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faouzi Cixous in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faouzi Cixous in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yacine Meriem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Faouzi Cixous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Park Hills fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Park Hills's Faouzi Cixous looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fawzi Hamdoud to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hoover FC's Mohamed Ben Ahmed Piaf got a free kick in the 57th minute. Yacine Meriem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Cixous, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Ahmed Harkouk could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Yacine Meriem however easily saved by the left post. If Ahmed Harkouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yacine Meriem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faouzi Cixous, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ahmed Harkouk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faouzi Cixous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Park Hills's Abdelmalek Djura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fawzi Hamdoud in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Ben Ahmed Piaf in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdelmalek Djura saved Park Hills from getting behind. Yacine Meriem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmed Harkouk in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Park Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Fawzi Hamdoud came free, but Abdelmalek Djura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
