After having played for 18 minutes, Yahia Cohen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivoli United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yahia Cohen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rivoli United's Yahia Cohen got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehdi Mesbah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Mekhloufi having to interfere. Karim Mekhloufi came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Rivoli United's Mehdi Mesbah. But to his dismay, Mehdi Mesbah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nordine Belhagj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djamel Hemdani having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Djamel in the 34th minute of play forced Rivoli United's goalkeeper Djamel Hemdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noureddine Daham struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Djamel Hemdani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pevely AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Pevely AFC's zone, Mehdi Mesbah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Mekhloufi came out of the goal and Mehdi Mesbah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noureddine Daham to strike the kick off in the second half. Djamel Djamel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Rivoli United's Bouabdellah Hemdani tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pevely AFC's Noureddine Daham got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Abdellah Merbah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Noureddine Daham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Djamel Djamel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Nordine Belhagj made a precise shot to the right of Djamel Hemdani. Rivoli United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nordine Belhagj in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Djamel Hemdani saved Rivoli United from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Rivoli United's goal looked a bit too open when Nordine Belhagj came free, but Djamel Hemdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Mekhloufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Mesbah in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Djamel Djamel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pevely AFC's Karim Mekhloufi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pevely AFC from getting a goal against them. When Abdellah Bahari fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pevely AFC's protests and gave Abdellah Bahari a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Pevely AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdellah Bahari to maneuver through the defense. Said Iles was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, one of Rivoli United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rivoli United. Rivoli United's Abdellah Merbah got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
