Spectators: 6693 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kasdi Bougherra made the kick off which started today's match. Noureddine Bencheikh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Noureddine Bencheikh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Kader Mohand made a precise shot to the right of Faouzi Bouchemla. Spring Lake's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Noureddine Bencheikh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faouzi Bouchemla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Rabah Aziz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Kasdi Bougherra hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Faouzi Bouchemla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Noureddine Bencheikh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faouzi Bouchemla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Bencheikh in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Spring Lake's goalkeeper Faouzi Bouchemla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kader Mohand. Faouzi Bouchemla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Baba Ali Hadjar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Corvallis's zone, Kasdi Bougherra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cherif Fellahi came out of the goal and Kasdi Bougherra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kader Mohand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Faouzi Bouchemla made a huge save. Hocine Benzine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cherif Fellahi having to interfere. In the last second Faouzi Bouchemla throw himself and got hold of the ball when Noureddine Bencheikh in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rachid Baba Ali Hadjar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Faouzi Bouchemla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hocine Benzine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Noureddine Bencheikh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faouzi Bouchemla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Noureddine Bencheikh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kader Mohand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Kasdi Bougherra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cherif Fellahi. Kasdi Bougherra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Kader Mohand took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faouzi Bouchemla. Faouzi Bouchemla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noureddine Bencheikh in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faouzi Bouchemla saved Spring Lake from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Djamel Teissier during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Corvallis getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Djamel Teissier hit a great ball. Spring Lake's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 95th minute of the game, when Kasdi Bougherra after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Corvallis's goal. Kasdi Bougherra was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Many of Spring Lake's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Spring Lake may have spent more time on the ball, but Corvallis were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
