Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mourad Zéroual in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karim Madouni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean-Michel Belmellat kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Faouzi Saïfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cheb Aliche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheb Aliche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faouzi Saïfi in the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mourad Zéroual got free with Karim Madouni in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mourad Zéroual recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mokdad Haddou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Real Punta Gorda's Benamar Ramdani got a free kick in the 48th minute.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mokdad Haddou in the 54th minute of play forced Real Punta Gorda's goalkeeper Karim Madouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Assia Cohen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Chaba Khabatou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Punta Gorda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southbridge the free kick. After 58 played minutes Real Punta Gorda got a freekick which was hit by Chaba Khabatou. The supporters of Southbridge booed when Real Punta Gorda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaba Khabatou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Hadjar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jean-Michel Belmellat kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Assia Cohen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cheb Aliche. Assia Cohen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Cheb Aliche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faouzi Saïfi in the 71st minute. Faouzi Saïfi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Cheb Aliche skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 74 played minutes Real Punta Gorda got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Michel Belmellat. In the 75th minute, Mourad Zéroual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mourad Zéroual in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karim Madouni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chaba Khabatou was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Real Punta Gorda's Chaba Khabatou got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Mourad Zéroual came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Southbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mourad Zéroual couldn't finish the play. Mokdad Haddou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
