Rafik Zoheir Zeghdoud hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to Osseo FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rafik Yacine hit a great ball. Mohammad Mhenni charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohammad Mhenni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Osseo FC! In the 23rdth minute of the game Karim Belloumi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Osseo FC's Mouloud Abdenouz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rafik Yacine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Abdelaziz Chedda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yazid Gourion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manchester United's Yazid Gourion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djabir Brahmi in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Djabir Brahmi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yazid Gourion. The goal made the score 1-1. Mouloud Abdenouz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mouloud Bencherif, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karim Belloumi was the one to do the kick off. Mouloud Abdenouz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mouloud Bencherif sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Belloumi in the 55th minute of play forced Osseo FC's goalkeeper Mouloud Abdenouz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelaziz Chedda's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelaziz Chedda helped the player get up and apologised. Abdelaziz Chedda hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Mouloud Bencherif was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Manchester United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 66 minutes into the game, Karim Belloumi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mouloud Abdenouz. Karim Belloumi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Osseo FC's zone, Karim Belloumi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mouloud Abdenouz came out of the goal and Karim Belloumi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mouloud Bencherif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Abdenouz having to interfere. Yazid Gourion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djabir Brahmi in the 74th minute of play. With 83 minutes on the clock, Ahmed Bensaoula commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Osseo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! 91 minutes into the game, Karim Belloumi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mouloud Abdenouz. Karim Belloumi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Osseo FC's Mouloud Abdenouz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Belloumi in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, Osseo FC's Rafik Yacine made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yazid Gourion was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manchester United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
