After having played for 20 minutes, Mourad Khalef managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shinnston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mourad Khalef was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Edmond Azem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cheb Tahar. Shinnston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmond Azem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abdellah Medjadi Meniri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Madjer during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shinnston's Charles Madjer got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute of the match Lounès Assad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cheb Tahar skillfully saved the ball. When Mourad Khalef came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Shinnston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mourad Khalef couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, Abdellah Medjadi Meniri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cheb Tahar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Cheikha Kafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Banouas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 69th minute Mourad Khalef shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheikha Kafi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes Brackenridge AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hocine Bouzid who took care of the corner kick. Shinnston's Kader Lelouch was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cheikha Kafi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edmond Azem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cheb Tahar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Mehdi Djeziri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brackenridge AFC's Lounès Assad couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Shinnston. Kamel Labi hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Mourad Khalef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cheikha Kafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th play minute Edmond Azem came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cheb Tahar. 0-4. Brackenridge AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
