Hamid Schoonmaker kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Mbare United's goal looked a bit too open when Hakim Belaout came free, but Cheb Gaouaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mbare United's Cheb Gaouaoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mbare United from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Rabah Mezair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mbare United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Yacine Zitouni came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Somerset fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yacine Zitouni couldn't finish the play. In the 30th match minute, Somerset was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tedj Mimoun to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Lamine Kab in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nasser Bouzid saved Somerset from getting behind. Ismael Lamine Kab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bellemou Mehenni made a great header on Mbare United's corner, it was just that Somerset's Nasser Bouzid managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Mbare United booed when Somerset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yacine Zitouni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Said's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cheb Gaouaoui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Said to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Somerset's zone, Ismael Lamine Kab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nasser Bouzid came out of the goal and Ismael Lamine Kab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ismael Lamine Kab, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nasser Bouzid was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rabah Mezair was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 60 played minutes Somerset got a freekick which was hit by Tayeb Kharroubi. In the 62nd minute Ismael Lamine Kab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasser Bouzid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mbare United booed when Somerset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Medjadi Amri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ahmed Said had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Mbare United got a freekick which was hit by Nasserredine Ramdane. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ismael Lamine Kab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Somerset's Nasser Bouzid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rabah Mezair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Lamine Kab in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nasser Bouzid saved Somerset from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Mbare United's Ismael Larbes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nasser Bouzid. Nasser Bouzid yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2.
