Nasreddine Cherrad struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Tedj Assad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayou La Batre AFC. 5 minutes into the match, Nasreddine Cherrad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tedj Assad. Runnemede's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nasreddine Cherrad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Djamal Bitat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bayou La Batre AFC's Zīn ud-Dīn Djeballi got a free kick in the 15th minute. Said Mimoun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faouzi Laref in the 17th minute of the match. Djamal Bitat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Mimoun having to interfere. Said Mimoun made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Djamal Bitat sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Runnemede booed when Bayou La Batre AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fawzi Bensaoula didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Djamal Bitat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runnemede's supporters rose to their feet, but Djamal Bitat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Said Mimoun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Runnemede's Faouzi Laref in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bayou La Batre AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Djamal Bitat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Said Mimoun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Laref, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute, one of Bayou La Batre AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bayou La Batre AFC. Said Mimoun went to the wrong direction when Tayeb Hamdani was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 57 minutes, Djamal Bitat made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bayou La Batre AFC's Said Mimoun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Djamal Bitat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Mimoun having to interfere. If Faouzi Laref had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Said Mimoun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamal Bitat, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Faouzi Laref received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Said Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abderaouf Touhami in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tedj Assad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Faouzi Laref took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Said Mimoun. Said Mimoun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 88th match minute, Bayou La Batre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yacine Drid to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Djamal Bitat in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Said Mimoun saved Bayou La Batre AFC from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Yacine Radjef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abderaouf Touhami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Assad having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Runnemede players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
