Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdellah Brahimi started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Anacleto Cucao reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abdelmalek Achiu. The goal made the score 1-0. Abdelmalek Achiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes, Faouzi Amrouche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erwin and the Atlantis United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Erwin got a freekick which was hit by Faouzi Amrouche. In the 14th minute Farid Merzekane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Toccaceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faouzi Mami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abdelmalek Achiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Erwin defense, Anacleto Cucao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdelmalek Achiu. The Erwin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdelmalek Achiu should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Rabah El-Hadi made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Toccaceli. Atlantis United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Miguel Damião struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Abdelmalek Achiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlantis United. Faouzi Mami who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Abdelmalek Achiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Abdellah Brahimi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Toccaceli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Reda Saïfi's late challenge caught a Erwin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reda Saïfi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Erwin booed when Atlantis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reda Saïfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Anacleto Cucao made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Atlantis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Cucao to maneuver through the defense. Atlantis United's Faouzi Mami got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Atlantis United's Anacleto Cucao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdelmalek Achiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdelmalek Achiu came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlantis United's Faouzi Mami. But to his dismay, Faouzi Mami quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Farid Merzekane kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Anacleto Cucao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Faouzi Mami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erwin's Abdelmalek Achiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 65 minutes, Fodil Amsallem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erwin and the Atlantis United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fodil Amsallem kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Augusto Toccaceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdellah Brahimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Safy Zeghdoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Brahimi in the 72nd minute of play forced Atlantis United's goalkeeper Augusto Toccaceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Toccaceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdellah Brahimi in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Atlantis United's goalkeeper Augusto Toccaceli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rabah El-Hadi. 77 minutes into the match, Atlantis United's goalkeeper Augusto Toccaceli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Farid Merzekane. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Erwin's goalkeeper Abdelmalek Achiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Atlantis United fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Atlantis United's Anacleto Cucao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Cucao in the 90th minute of play forced Erwin's goalkeeper Abdelmalek Achiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anacleto Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlantis United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
