Liamine Djeballi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chadli Ighil having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Ali Yahia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid and the White Marsh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute of the match Ali Benhamou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noureddine Sofiane skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafik Zoheir Hadjar during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rafik Zoheir Hadjar hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Mustapha Djaout, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 45 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Chadli Ighil was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustapha Djaout to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute Mohamed Drid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chadli Ighil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knodi Dahleb didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Drid came free, but Chadli Ighil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
