In the 12th minute Anacleto Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noureddine Sofiane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faouzi Mami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Drid blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Toccaceli having to make a save. After 24 played minutes Atlantis United got a freekick which was hit by Reda Saïfi. Faouzi Mami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miguel Damião might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noureddine Sofiane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Damião ran back to his position shaking his head. Noureddine Sofiane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faouzi Mami in the 29th minute. With a little luck, White Marsh's Noureddine Sofiane got control of the ball when Faouzi Mami tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Toccaceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustapha Djaout, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Augusto Toccaceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Drid in the 34th minute of play. If Nabil Taha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. In the 46th match minute, White Marsh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Drid to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Anacleto Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlantis United's supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Cucao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noureddine Sofiane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anacleto Cucao made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Miguel Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noureddine Sofiane was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Cucao in the 59th minute of play forced White Marsh's goalkeeper Noureddine Sofiane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noureddine Sofiane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Mami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anacleto Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nabil Taha came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Atlantis United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nabil Taha couldn't finish the play. Souad Dahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noureddine Sofiane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Cucao in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noureddine Sofiane saved White Marsh from getting behind. After having played for 97 minutes, Anacleto Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlantis United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Cucao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlantis United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
