After a rather tough play, Calistoga FC's Smail Azem got a free kick in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Wolverhampton's goal looked a bit too open when Ismaïl Mohamed came free, but Kasdi Bitat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mustapha Harkat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Calistoga FC booed when Wolverhampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Merbah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calistoga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zīn ud-Dīn Harkat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasdi Bitat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Kasdi Bitat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wolverhampton had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
