That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Karim Firoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Cherrad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Radjef in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salah Merbah saved Jenison from getting behind. Rabah Amara hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Ahmed Abbas from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Salah Merbah's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nasser Mansouri during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Merrick AFC's Nasser Mansouri got a free kick in the 21st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Jenison's Mimoun Ouid Fillali tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Karim Touhami fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merrick AFC's protests and gave Karim Touhami a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Merrick AFC got a freekick which was hit by Karim Touhami. Merrick AFC's Mohamed Radjef was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 39 minutes of play Merrick AFC's Nasser Mansouri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Merrick AFC's Nasser Mansouri got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Mimoun Ouid Fillali sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Benchenaa skillfully saved the ball. Karim Cherrad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Salah Merbah made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Karim Cherrad could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Salah Merbah however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdel Megharia was the one to do the kick off. When Karim Cherrad came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Merrick AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Cherrad couldn't finish the play. Salah Merbah came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Merrick AFC's Djabir Meniri. But to his dismay, Djabir Meniri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Karim Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Merbah having to interfere. Karim Touhami kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Merrick AFC's goalkeeper Ali Benchenaa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karim Firoud. Karim Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Merbah having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Merrick AFC's zone, Abdel Megharia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Benchenaa came out of the goal and Abdel Megharia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Merrick AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Karim Touhami hit a great ball. Mimoun Ouid Fillali was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ali Benchenaa made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Karim Firoud sent off a good shot on target. If Karim Cherrad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Firoud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ali Benchenaa made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Jenison's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Touhami came free, but Salah Merbah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jenison's zone, Karim Cherrad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salah Merbah came out of the goal and Karim Cherrad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karim Cherrad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Karim Touhami came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Merrick AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Touhami couldn't finish the play. Ali Benchenaa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Firoud in the 89th minute. Karim Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Merbah having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Merrick AFC had played much better football throughout.
