Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mourad Al-Jazairia started the match with the kick off. Noureddine El-Hadi's late challenge caught a Seaside Heights FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noureddine El-Hadi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Seaside Heights FC. Hakim Baroudi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmed Aggoune. 0-1. Mourad Al-Jazairia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farès Firoud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Seaside Heights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mourad Al-Jazairia came free, but Farès Firoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Rabah Fadela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmed Aggoune was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mourad Al-Jazairia struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Farès Firoud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nettleton. Farès Firoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Al-Jazairia, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Rabah Fadela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ahmed Aggoune tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Seaside Heights FC booed when Nettleton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amrani Ben Khalidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Seaside Heights FC's Hakim Baroudi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Albert Rimitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Seaside Heights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khair ad-Din Amsallem to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match Nettleton got a corner. Seaside Heights FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abdulhamid Hadjar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nettleton's Abdulhamid Hadjar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Farès Firoud in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Albert Rimitti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Farès Firoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Al-Jazairia in the 58th minute of play forced Seaside Heights FC's goalkeeper Farès Firoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karim Ben Bella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Aggoune having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Nettleton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amrani Ben Khalidi to maneuver through the defense. If Karim Ben Bella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mourad Al-Jazairia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farès Firoud having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Seaside Heights FC's Khair ad-Din Amsallem got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rabah Fadela in the 84th minute of play forced Nettleton's goalkeeper Ahmed Aggoune to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nettleton's zone, Khair ad-Din Amsallem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Aggoune came out of the goal and Khair ad-Din Amsallem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rabah Fadela came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Seaside Heights FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rabah Fadela couldn't finish the play. Karim Ben Bella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seaside Heights FC's Farès Firoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Rimitti in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Seaside Heights FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
