The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Peotone's zone, Rafik Zoheir Benchenaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anther Boulebda came out of the goal and Rafik Zoheir Benchenaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhat Belhagj in the 7th minute of play forced Seaside Heights FC's goalkeeper Farès Firoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alain Mhenni in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farès Firoud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Seaside Heights FC booed when Peotone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Benzine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Farès Firoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Mhenni in the 22nd minute of play. If Rabah Fadela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peotone's Anther Boulebda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Fadela in the 27th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Seaside Heights FC got a freekick which was hit by Khair ad-Din Amsallem. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Seaside Heights FC's Rabah Fadela in the 35th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Anther Boulebda was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Peotone through an amazing save. In the 37th minute Seaside Heights FC were awarded a corner. Hakim Baroudi went to the cornerflag to take it. Hakim Baroudi made a great header on Seaside Heights FC's corner, it was just that Peotone's Anther Boulebda managed to reach the ball for a save. Belmadi Merzekane's late challenge caught a Seaside Heights FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmadi Merzekane helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Seaside Heights FC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hakim Baroudi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Peotone's Anther Boulebda. 2-0. Ferhat Belhagj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farès Firoud having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Alain Mhenni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Ferhat Belhagj made the kick off in the second half. If Alain Mhenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Seaside Heights FC's Karim Ben Bella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anther Boulebda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anther Boulebda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Ben Bella in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Seaside Heights FC booed when Peotone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fodil Douibi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakim Baroudi, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Khair ad-Din Amsallem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seaside Heights FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Khair ad-Din Amsallem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anther Boulebda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rabah Fadela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anther Boulebda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Hamdani in the 89th minute of the match. Seaside Heights FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Fodil Douibi scored to the left of an out of position Farès Firoud, making the score, 2-1. Peotone's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
