Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) South Augusta's Ali Ziani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rachid Diafat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Souad Sad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The South Augusta fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when South Augusta's Ali Ziani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the match, Ali Ziani notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ulysses's Rachid Diafat. Rachid Diafat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmed Cohen-Tannoudji during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Ulysses got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Cohen-Tannoudji. Rachid Diafat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Souad Sad, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rachid Diafat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Souad Sad in the 30th minute of play. Rachid Diafat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Souad Sad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rachid Diafat came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by South Augusta's Souad Sad. But to his dismay, Souad Sad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rachid Diafat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Souad Sad in the 40th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Chaba Zaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes in the game, Ali Ziani dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nouara Mesbah to make the kick off. Ali Ziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Ziani in the 66th minute of play forced Ulysses's goalkeeper Rachid Diafat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mimoun Ouid Diss hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Ali Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Diafat having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Chaba Zaoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ulysses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Augusta the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Souad Sad got free with Rachid Diafat in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th match minute, Ulysses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaba Zaoui to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelmalek Fergani in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Mérah-Benida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yazid Merah's late challenge caught a Ulysses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yazid Merah helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, South Augusta's Yazid Merah got a free kick in the 83rd minute. South Augusta's Souad Sad got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Abdelmalek Fergani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Augusta's Mohamed Mérah-Benida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nouara Mesbah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohamed Mérah-Benida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Ali Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Diafat having to interfere. South Augusta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
