In the 20th minute, Frantz Mimoun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karim Soltani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhat Bendjedid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frantz Mimouns short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Karim Soltani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th minute Frantz Mimoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Soltani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Aït Salem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frantz Larbi was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferhat Bendjedid was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Ahmed Aït Salem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bosque Farms AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Aït Salem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ferhat Bendjedid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poquonock Bridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferhat Bendjedid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bosque Farms AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poquonock Bridge the free kick. 60 minutes into the match, Ferhat Bendjedid notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bosque Farms AFC's Karim Soltani. Karim Soltani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Bosque Farms AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karim Soltani should have stopped the shot.
