Frantz Larbi came out of the goal and Cheb El-Ouafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Poquonock Bridge's Karim Asma got a free kick in the 37th minute. With his leg Frantz Larbi managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Seaside Heights AFC's Lili Zakaria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anther Mezdad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frantz Mimoun in the 41st minute of play. Anther Mezdad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frantz Mimoun, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ferhat Bendjedid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anther Mezdad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samir Chaib's late challenge caught a Seaside Heights AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samir Chaib helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Poquonock Bridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Chaib to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seaside Heights AFC's goalkeeper Anther Mezdad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferhat Bendjedid in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anther Mezdad saved Seaside Heights AFC from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Ferhat Bendjedid recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anther Mezdad. Ferhat Bendjedid showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 76th match minute, Poquonock Bridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Chaib to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Lili Zakaria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seaside Heights AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lili Zakaria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Poquonock Bridge's goal looked a bit too open when Lili Zakaria came free, but Frantz Larbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Frantz Mimoun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poquonock Bridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Frantz Mimoun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anther Mezdad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Poquonock Bridge eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
