Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Djamal Fergani got the match started through his kick off. Boudjemaa Zitouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Bouzid in the 6th minute of play. When Djamal Fergani came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Haslett AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamal Fergani couldn't finish the play. Cheb Soltani in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boudjemaa Zitouni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abd al-Asis El-Hadi struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tedj Saadane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haslett AFC. Haslett AFC's Abd al-Asis El-Hadi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ault Field getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mustapha Belloumi hit a great ball. The supporters of Haslett AFC booed when Ault Field was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bouabdellah Fadela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bendjedid Heddou was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abd al-Asis El-Hadi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tedj Saadane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Mustapha Belloumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djamal Fergani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Tedj Kourichi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haslett AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ault Field the free kick. In the 41st minute, Tedj Kourichi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cheb Soltani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kamel Lelouch during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Haslett AFC's Kamel Lelouch got a free kick in the 47th minute. Boudjemaa Zitouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Bouzid in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Hamza Bouzid made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Hamid Karim Belkassem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Haslett AFC's Abd al-Asis El-Hadi got a free kick in the 56th minute. Cheb Soltani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ault Field getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mehdi Zaoui hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Bendjedid Heddou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tedj Saadane skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Cheb Soltani put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Boudjemaa Zitouni. Abderraouf Sifi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Haslett AFC's zone, Hamza Bouzid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boudjemaa Zitouni came out of the goal and Hamza Bouzid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Mustapha Belloumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cheb Soltani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehdi Zaoui's late challenge caught a Haslett AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehdi Zaoui helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, one of Ault Field:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ault Field. Boudjemaa Zitouni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheb Soltani went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ault Field were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Haslett AFC for a fine match.
