Said Maroc charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Said Maroc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alkinoos Kokkinias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hameur Hamid. Oak Valley FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hameur Hamid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammed Djeziri in the 37th minute of the match. Hameur Hamid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Cerbah in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Djeziri in the 40th minute of play forced Oak Valley FC's goalkeeper Hameur Hamid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oak Valley FC's Hameur Hamid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hocine Cerbah in the 44th minute of play. Enrique Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hameur Hamid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Oak Valley FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Falfurrias were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abderrachid Khendu to make the kick off. The supporters of Falfurrias booed when Oak Valley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abderrachid Khendu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Hameur Hamid successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oak Valley FC's Hameur Hamid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Oak Valley FC from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the game, Falfurrias's Mohammed Djeziri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
