The Zephyrhills West FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rachid Saïdi-Sief should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes Zephyrhills West FC got a freekick which was hit by Mouloud Harkouk. Zephyrhills West FC's Mouloud Harkouk got his second yellow card of the match in the 18th minute. The referee ordered Mouloud Harkouk off the ground. The supporters of Sugar Land booed when Zephyrhills West FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouloud Harkouk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Zoheir Soltani sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zephyrhills West FC's Rachid Saïdi-Sief didn't even have to move. In the 22nd match minute, Zephyrhills West FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Cherrad to maneuver through the defense. Zoheir Soltani was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 25 minutes in the game, Hamid Adjani dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Ahmed Boulmerka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Hamid Adjani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sugar Land fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Zephyrhills West FC's Rachid Saïdi-Sief played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayeb Radjef in the 42nd minute of play. Hamid Adjani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Rachid Saïdi-Sief when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rachid Saïdi-Sief had great luck who in the 47thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tayeb Radjef from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmed Boulmerka to make the kick off. Zephyrhills West FC's Ahmed Boulmerka got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Tayeb Radjef shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Saïdi-Sief saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rachid Saïdi-Sief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Adjani in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Sugar Land's Tayeb Radjef sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Saïdi-Sief narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sugar Land had won after a very even match.
