If Robert Avenarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamel Djebar took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohamed Hamid. Mohamed Hamid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamel Djebar was the one to do the kick off. Jörgen Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noureddine Bencherif in the 57th minute of the match. Silver Hawks United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute Robert Avenarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Hamid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Scottsboro AFC's zone, Kamel Djebar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Hamid came out of the goal and Kamel Djebar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Avenarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Mohamed Hamid made a huge save. Cheb Sofiane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noureddine Bencherif kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Cheb Sofiane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silver Hawks United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
