The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismaël Oussalah in the 2nd minute of play forced Horizon City AFC's goalkeeper Ali Morceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Matoub in the 9th minute of play forced Horizon City AFC's goalkeeper Ali Morceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Stroudsburg's Ismaël Oussalah made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Morceli was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasdi Daham in the 16th minute of play forced Stroudsburg's goalkeeper Mohammed Khabatou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ismaël Oussalah sped through Horizon City AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Morceli. The supporters of Stroudsburg booed when Horizon City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yacine Radjef didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes Horizon City AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismaël Oussalah who took care of the corner kick. Mohammed Khabatou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hocine Dziri, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jean-Michel Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stroudsburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Michel Macias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Morceli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Karim Matoub came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Stroudsburg fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karim Matoub in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Morceli saved Horizon City AFC from getting behind. In the 53rd minute, Salim El-Ouafi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Morceli. The goal made the score 1-3. Karim Matoub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Morceli having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Michel Macias got free with Ali Morceli in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ismaël Oussalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Horizon City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismaël Oussalah came free, but Ali Morceli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Morceli stood somewhat misplaced when Karim Matoub came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 71 minute. The Stroudsburg fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Stroudsburg's Karim Matoub looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the match, Abdelhamid Kourichi notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Stroudsburg's Mohammed Khabatou. Mohammed Khabatou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mohammed Khabatou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Dziri in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Kasdi Daham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mohammed Khabatou. Stroudsburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kasdi Daham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. If Ismaël Oussalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Morceli made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jean-Michel Macias sent off a good shot on target. Ali Morceli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Matoub in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Mohammed Boulmerka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stroudsburg's Mohammed Khabatou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
