With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amine Djahnine in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismaël Bitat saved Waterloo from getting behind. If Souad Saïd-Guerni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waterloo's Madhi Larfaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Souad Saïd-Guerni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2.
