Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Waterloo's Souad Saïd-Guerni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Morceli. That made the score 1-1 after 9 minutes of play. Madhi Larfaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Morceli having to interfere. Salim Belloumi's late challenge caught a Horizon City AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salim Belloumi helped the player get up and apologised. Salim Belloumi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Kasdi Daham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waterloo's Ismaël Bitat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Souad Saïd-Guerni elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ali Morceli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madhi Larfaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Horizon City AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Souad Saïd-Guerni fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 34th minute, Kassel Ahmed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Souad Saïd-Guerni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ali Morceli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Horizon City AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Madhi Larfaoui fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Souad Saïd-Guerni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Madhi Larfaoui made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Waterloo's Madhi Larfaoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Morceli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ismaël Bitat came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Horizon City AFC's Hocine Dziri. But to his dismay, Hocine Dziri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 66 minutes into the match, Horizon City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Souad Saïd-Guerni came free, but Ali Morceli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Souad Saïd-Guerni came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Waterloo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Souad Saïd-Guerni couldn't finish the play. Madhi Larfaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ali Morceli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Horizon City AFC's goalkeeper Ali Morceli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yacine Radjef's late challenge caught a Waterloo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yacine Radjef helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Horizon City AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Yacine Radjef hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Ali Amri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Morceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasdi Daham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismaël Bitat having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasdi Daham in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismaël Bitat saved Waterloo from getting behind. 84 minutes into the game, Waterloo's Madhi Larfaoui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Morceli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 92nd minute, Abdelnacer Dahleb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Amri came free in the 94th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ali Morceli, but to the joy of Horizon City AFC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Ali Morceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madhi Larfaoui in the 97th minute of play.
