Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Blountstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun came free, but Mohamed Saadane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tayeb Sam hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Abdelmalek Kaci Said managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blountstown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelmalek Kaci Said was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Blountstown FC's zone, Mimoun Raho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Saadane came out of the goal and Mimoun Raho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehdi Nekkar charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehdi Nekkar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mehdi Nekkar hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Saadane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Blountstown FC's zone, Mimoun Raho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Saadane came out of the goal and Mimoun Raho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehdi Nekkar got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Sierra Madre's Mehdi Nekkar got a free kick in the 19th minute. Abdelmalek Kaci Said fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boubekeur Cixous having to interfere. If Farid Méniri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abdelmalek Kaci Said came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Blountstown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelmalek Kaci Said couldn't finish the play. After 29 minutes, Tayeb Sam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sierra Madre and the Blountstown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Sierra Madre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayeb Sam to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Abdelmalek Kaci Said was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blountstown FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sierra Madre the free kick. After a rather tough play, Blountstown FC's Abdelmalek Kaci Said got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 38th minute, Farid Méniri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sierra Madre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Farid Méniri scored to the left of an out of position Boubekeur Cixous, making the score, 1-1. Blountstown FC's Abdelmalek Kaci Said got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Farid Méniri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Blountstown FC's goalkeeper Mohamed Saadane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tayeb Sam. Mohamed Saadane made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Mimoun Raho sent off a good shot on target. Sierra Madre's Mimoun Raho got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blountstown FC's Mohamed Saadane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Blountstown FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Blountstown FC's zone, Mimoun Raho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Saadane came out of the goal and Mimoun Raho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fadel Hamrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mimoun Raho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohamed Saadane having to make a save. Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mimoun Raho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Saadane having to interfere. In the 80th play minute Mimoun Raho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mohamed Saadane. 1-2. In the 82nd minute, Farid Méniri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Saadane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mimoun Raho in the 85th minute. Mimoun Raho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mohamed Saadane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun's late challenge caught a Blountstown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sierra Madre getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rachid Baba Ali Mimoun hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Smail Dib shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boubekeur Cixous showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Sierra Madre supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sierra Madre would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
