Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alain Abdi took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Gatesville's Dida Laref got control of the ball when Karim Cherrad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alain Abdi's late challenge caught a Duncan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alain Abdi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Gatesville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Abdi to maneuver through the defense. If Karim Cherrad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahieddine Sofiane in the 7th minute of play forced Gatesville's goalkeeper Dida Laref to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Laref made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahieddine Sofiane in the 9th minute of play. When Hamid Zaoui fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Duncan's protests and gave Hamid Zaoui a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Salim Djahnine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khair ad-Din Belkhadem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Boulmerka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Duncan's zone, Alain Abdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khair ad-Din Belkhadem came out of the goal and Alain Abdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khair ad-Din Belkhadem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Abdi in the 24th minute of play. Hamid Zaoui hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Duncan's zone, Rachid Boulmerka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khair ad-Din Belkhadem came out of the goal and Rachid Boulmerka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Alain Abdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khair ad-Din Belkhadem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mahieddine Sofiane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alain Abdi came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Gatesville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alain Abdi couldn't finish the play. Karim Cherrad charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karim Cherrad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karim Cherrad hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Alain Abdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was a penalty for Duncan! The referee gave Gatesville a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Meziane Madjer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Duncan's Khair ad-Din Belkhadem. 0-2. After the first half Gatesville were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahieddine Sofiane to strike the kick off in the second half. Dida Laref showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Cherrad in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Duncan booed when Gatesville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamid Deghmani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alain Abdi in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khair ad-Din Belkhadem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alain Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Khair ad-Din Belkhadem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karim Cherrad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Laref having to make a save. Rachid Boulmerka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khair ad-Din Belkhadem having to interfere. Alain Abdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Duncan's goalkeeper Khair ad-Din Belkhadem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rachid Boulmerka. A hard shot 88 in the game by Rachid Boulmerka from a close distance when the talented Khair ad-Din Belkhadem managed to make a qualified save. Duncan's players were relieved. Abdelmalek Merah kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gatesville's goalkeeper Dida Laref, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Khair ad-Din Belkhadem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rachid Boulmerkas short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Khair ad-Din Belkhadem to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 97 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Gatesville's Alain Abdi fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The Gatesville players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
