Branch's Said Raho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouloud Soltani in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mouloud Soltani made a kick off. Nouredine Amara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustapha Khendu in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Djamel Mezair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mouloud Soltani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Hamza Fari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nouredine Amara. Crowley AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamza Fari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Crowley AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Branch the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Crowley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhamid Bouguerra to maneuver through the defense. Rachid Firoud took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nouredine Amara. Crowley AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mouloud Soltani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rabah Kensi's late challenge caught a Crowley AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rabah Kensi helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Branch got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Kensi. Mohammed Zidane hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Nouredine Amara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamza Fari in the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamza Fari in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nouredine Amara saved Crowley AFC from getting behind.
