Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdelhamid Brahami started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid N'Soumer in the 6th minute of play forced Sioux AFC's goalkeeper Tedj Mansouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Galion AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ben Drid hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Abdelhamid Brahami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sioux AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhamid Brahami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hocine Yahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sioux AFC's Tedj Mansouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hocine Benyamina in the 13th minute of play. If Abdelhamid Brahami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Hocine Benyamina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galion AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hocine Benyamina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Galion AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Kouri to maneuver through the defense. Abdelhamid Brahami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hocine Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Baroudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Yahia having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Galion AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Brahami came free, but Hocine Yahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Galion AFC's Hocine Yahia got control of the ball when Robert Baroudi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rachid N'Soumer to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Galion AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Benyamina. After 60 minutes, Robert Baroudi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Galion AFC's Hocine Yahia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Sioux AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid N'Soumer came free, but Tedj Mansouri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Robert Baroudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Baroudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Hocine Benyamina notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sioux AFC's Tedj Mansouri. Tedj Mansouri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 87 played minutes Sioux AFC got a freekick which was hit by El Benarbia. Galion AFC's Rachid N'Soumer was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Galion AFC's Noureddine Kouri got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rachid N'Soumer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tedj Mansouri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Galion AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
