Spectators: 7395 (Terracing: 5547, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) Abdelhamid Nekkar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 8 minutes into the game, Mohammad Kermali threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gardner's Mohamed Belmadi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Djamel Abdessalam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cherif Amsallem might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mourad Rimitti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cherif Amsallem ran back to his position shaking his head. Mourad Rimitti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cherif Amsallem's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Cherif Amsallem took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mourad Rimitti. Mourad Rimitti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in GOKTURK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 25th minute, Abdelhamid Nekkar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mourad Rimitti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mourad Rimitti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelhamid Nekkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes of play, GOKTURK's Samir Lacen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdelmalek Khelaifia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Djamel Abdessalam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Abdelhamid Zitouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cherif Amsallem in the 44th minute of play forced GOKTURK's goalkeeper Mourad Rimitti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mourad Rimitti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Amirouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samir Lacen made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Daniel Boufroura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GOKTURK and the Gardner players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Boufroura kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GOKTURK's zone, Abdelhamid Nekkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mourad Rimitti came out of the goal and Abdelhamid Nekkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelhamid Nekkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Abdelhamid Nekkar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abdelhamid Nekkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abdelhamid Nekkar came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Gardner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelhamid Nekkar couldn't finish the play. Cherif Amsallem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mourad Rimitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes GOKTURK got a freekick which was hit by Rafik Mammeri. After a rather tough play, Gardner's Mohamed Belmadi got a free kick in the 75th minute. A collision led to Gardner getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mohamed Belmadi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Mohamed Belmadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gardner's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Belmadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mourad Rimitti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cherif Amsallem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mourad Rimitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gardner's Cherif Amsallem got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The GOKTURK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gardner were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
