Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) El Merzekane started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mustapha Amri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Raceland:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roy AFC:s goal. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Roy AFC. Leon Kourichi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Noureddine Mansouri. 0-1. Djamel Kafi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Noureddine Mansouri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roy AFC. 13 minutes in the game, Djamel Kafi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Raceland's El Merzekane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liamine Bitat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Rachid Said who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roy AFC's Liamine Bitat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Raceland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Raï to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 26 in the game by Rachid Said from a close distance when the talented Liamine Bitat managed to make a qualified save. Roy AFC's players were relieved. Rachid Said sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, El Merzekane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raceland's supporters crossed their fingers, but El Merzekane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Rachid Said dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Liamine Bitat, 2-1. Roy AFC's Liamine Bitat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by El Merzekane in the 43rd minute of play. If El Merzekane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Djamel Kafi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Samir Deghmani came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Roy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samir Deghmani couldn't finish the play. Liamine Bitat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from El Merzekane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy AFC's Liamine Bitat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by El Merzekane in the 57th minute of play. Noureddine Meriem hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Noureddine Mansouri made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mustapha Amri sent off a good shot on target. Liamine Bitat came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Raceland's Rachid Said. But to his dismay, Rachid Said quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Raceland fans cheered their team off the field, for while Roy AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
