After having played for 3 minutes, Gilles Ziani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nixon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilles Ziani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes, Farid Ghazi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nixon FC and the Roy AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nixon FC's Farid Ghazi got a free kick in the 7th minute. A hard shot by Karim Zerara from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Sid Kouidri's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hamid Meskine scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liamine Bitat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Nixon FC's goalkeeper Sid Kouidri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustapha Amri. Mustapha Amri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sid Kouidri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hamid Meskine came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Nixon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamid Meskine couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustapha Amri got free with Sid Kouidri in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mimoun Reda Madouni kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Nixon FC booed when Roy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boughera Labi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Roy AFC's Mohamed Ben Ahmed Mansouri got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Karim Zerara's late challenge caught a Nixon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Zerara helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Roy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Karim Zerara. 41 minutes into the match, Roy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Ziani came free, but Liamine Bitat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Gilles Ziani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liamine Bitat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Hamid Meskine put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Liamine Bitat. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilles Ziani to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Nixon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Djamel Kafi came free, but Sid Kouidri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 59 minutes on the clock, Ahmed Reda Ahmed commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Roy AFC! A collision led to Nixon FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kamel Gallaire hit a great ball. When Gilles Ziani came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Nixon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilles Ziani couldn't finish the play. If Hamid Meskine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Liamine Bitat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Ziani in the 76th minute of the match. When Roy AFC's Mustapha Amri in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nixon FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sid Kouidri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustapha Amri in the 92nd minute of play. Liamine Bitat made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Hamid Meskine sent off a good shot on target. Gilles Ziani might have been able to make a better finish in the 102nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liamine Bitat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilles Ziani ran back to his position shaking his head.
