Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 8th minute El Merzekane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salim Medjiba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salim Medjiba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djabir Chaib in the 10th minute of play. El Cohen lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 12 played minutes Platteville got a freekick which was hit by El Cohen. Raceland's Salah Tahar got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rachid Baba Ali Boutellas short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Noureddine Mansouri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, Raceland's goalkeeper Noureddine Mansouri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rachid Baba Ali Boutella. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Rachid Baba Ali Boutella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Platteville's supporters rose to their feet, but Rachid Baba Ali Boutella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noureddine Mansouri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Mohamed Azem took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Noureddine Mansouri to make any attempt to save it. Salim Medjiba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djabir Chaib, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Platteville's goal looked a bit too open when Djabir Chaib came free, but Salim Medjiba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salim Medjiba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from El Merzekane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salim Medjiba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Said, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and El Merzekane made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Baba Ali Boutella in the 56th minute of play forced Raceland's goalkeeper Noureddine Mansouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Platteville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Diss to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, El Merzekane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salim Medjiba. The goal made the score 2-2. Noureddine Mansouri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Baba Ali Boutella in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Mohamed Ben Ahmed Medjani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noureddine Mansouri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Said got free with Salim Medjiba in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salim Medjiba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from El Merzekane in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Raceland's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Baba Ali Boutella came free, but Noureddine Mansouri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes, Mohamed Ben Ahmed Medjani made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Raceland's Noureddine Mansouri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Noureddine Mansouri came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Platteville's Mohamed Ben Ahmed Medjani. But to his dismay, Mohamed Ben Ahmed Medjani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. After 96 played minutes Platteville got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Diss. Platteville's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
