Fodil Brahami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grifton AFC. Fodil Brahami came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Grifton AFC's Alain Doutté. But to his dismay, Alain Doutté quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Alain Lacarne came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Grifton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alain Lacarne couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Coalinga FC's Mebarek El-Hadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belaid Drioueche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alain Lacarne came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Grifton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alain Lacarne couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Larbi Bouziane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grifton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coalinga FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grifton AFC's Larbi Bouziane got a free kick in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Mebarek El-Hadi put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Belaid Drioueche. Belaid Drioueche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mebarek El-Hadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Kamel Labi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coalinga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Coalinga FC's Kamel Labi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kasdi Chedda during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kamel Labi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Coalinga FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Karim Messaoudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Coalinga FC's Karim Messaoudi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Fodil Brahami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Doutté in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Alain Lacarne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodil Brahami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Grifton AFC's Alain Lacarne in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coalinga FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 83 played minutes Coalinga FC got a freekick which was hit by Mebarek Aarache. Mebarek El-Hadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Belaid Drioueche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mebarek El-Hadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belaid Drioueche having to interfere.
