After a defensive mix-up in Lenexa FC's zone, Chadli Benmabrouk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Hadjadj came out of the goal and Chadli Benmabrouk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Chadli Ulansi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lenexa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Chadli Ulansi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fathi Merbah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Lenexa FC's Fathi Merbah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salim Mezdad made a kick off. Lenexa FC's Farid Hadjadj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salim Mezdad in the 52nd minute of play. Salim Mezdad scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Farid Hadjadj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 60 minutes, Fathi Merbah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lenexa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fathi Merbah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Salim Mezdad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Hadjadj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salim Mezdad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antoine Boutabout kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mourad Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Hadjadj having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Nasserredine Merah-Benida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lenexa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Center the free kick. 76 minutes into the game, one of Lenexa FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Center. Abdelmalek Bezzaz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Farid Hadjadj. 2-2. Farid Hadjadj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chadli Benmabrouk went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Center fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lenexa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
