In the 55th minute, Abderrahmane Sad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilles Kerbouche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmed Maroc in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Hakim Kader's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilles Kerbouche was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. If Lili Toumi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdelaziz Brahami's late challenge caught a Corning FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustapha Labi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Seghiri having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lili Toumi in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodil Seghiri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmed Maroc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
