In the 39th minute of the match, Lili Toumi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chadli Larbi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Said Feraoun might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilles Kerbouche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Said Feraoun ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilles Kerbouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Said Feraoun in the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Said Feraoun managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAYIBOYU's supporters rose to their feet, but Said Feraoun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilles Kerbouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Lili Toumi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
