Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5549, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yacine Benyamina started the match with the kick off. Mustapha Ulansi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Belaid Brahami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Hocine Belkhadem shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Said Bezzaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Zīn ud-Dīn Saïd-Guerni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zīn ud-Dīn Saïd-Guerni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Said Bezzaz made a huge save. In the 12th match minute, Hoquiam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Kouri to maneuver through the defense. When Hoquiam's Yacine Benyamina in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ODERKA's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ODERKA! Nasserredine Taha shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Yacine Benyamina might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karim Belhadj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yacine Benyamina ran back to his position shaking his head. Karim Belhadj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamel Hamdani, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Hoquiam booed when ODERKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelkader Ouyahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yacine Benyamina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Belhadj having to interfere. Yacine Benyamina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 32 played minutes ODERKA got a freekick which was hit by Nasser Guendouz. After a defensive mix-up in ODERKA's zone, Djamel Hamdani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Belhadj came out of the goal and Djamel Hamdani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ODERKA getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Abdelkader Ouyahia hit a great ball. If Djamel Hamdani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zīn ud-Dīn Saïd-Guerni was the one to do the kick off. Zīn ud-Dīn Saïd-Guerni struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Said Bezzaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ODERKA. With a little luck, ODERKA's Karim Belhadj got control of the ball when Djamel Hamdani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yacine Benyamina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Karim Belhadj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheb Karim Belkassem hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Hoquiam's Djamel Hamdani got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Zīn ud-Dīn Saïd-Guerni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Said Bezzaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zīn ud-Dīn Saïd-Guerni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Said Bezzaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Djamel Hamdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hoquiam's zone, Cheb Karim Belkassem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Said Bezzaz came out of the goal and Cheb Karim Belkassem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
