After 17 minutes of play Sporting Clube de Maputo's Nouredine Belfaa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 18th minute, Nouredine Belfaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thelma Menad in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kateb Cherrad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cheb Hadj Aïssa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Ben Chaib having to interfere. gunners fc's Mohamed Ben Chaib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Hadj Aïssa in the 26th minute of play. Mohamed Ben Chaib was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but El Larfaoui showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play.
