Amar Dziri hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Knodi Lelouch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Youssef Madjer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Halim Boulmerka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelhamid Kharroubi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Youssef Madjer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th play minute Abdelhamid Kharroubi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Youssef Madjer. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 54th minute Edison AFC were awarded a corner. Knodi Lelouch went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Edison AFC's Mimoun Lamine getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Youssef Madjer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halim Boulmerka, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Chicago Ridge FC's Youssef Madjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelhamid Kharroubi in the 62nd minute of play. Youssef Madjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelhamid Kharroubi in the 70th minute of the match. If Halim Boulmerka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edison AFC's Abdelhamid Kharroubi in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 87th minute Abdelhamid Kharroubi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youssef Madjer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halim Boulmerka struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Youssef Madjer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edison AFC. In the 91st minute, Ahmed Ziani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fathi Zakaria hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Chicago Ridge FC's Hicham Boulmerka couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Edison AFC. In the 97thth minute of the game Halim Boulmerka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chicago Ridge FC's Youssef Madjer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Edison AFC were the better team. Edison AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
