Ogallala FC were furious when Ismael Sellal was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Ogallala FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BALKAN FC:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Fouad Hamdani managed to get in a good position for a shot. BALKAN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fouad Hamdani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Saïdi-Sief breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mansour Saïd-Guerni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brahim Aït Salem went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ogallala FC's Kateb Benzine got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Lakhdar Ouadah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BALKAN FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Ogallala FC's Mohamed Soltani got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd match minute, BALKAN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelnacer Benida to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes, Ogallala FC's Madhi Oussalah shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mansour Saïd-Guerni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ogallala FC reached it. The BALKAN FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BALKAN FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
