The supporters of West Side Highway booed when BALKAN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabah Ramdane didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tahar Fadhil Mohamed fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BALKAN FC's protests and gave Tahar Fadhil Mohamed a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BALKAN FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tahar Fadhil Mohamed hit a great ball. If Cheb Hamruche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafik Adjani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fouad Hamdani in the 39th minute of play. Cheb Hamruche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Cheb Hamruche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. West Side Highway's Assia Saïd-Guerni got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cheb Hamruche scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mansour Saïd-Guerni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cheb Hamruche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Saïd-Guerni having to interfere. Fouad Hamdani might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafik Adjani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fouad Hamdani ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to BALKAN FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tahar Fadhil Mohamed hit a great ball. Cheb Hamruche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mansour Saïd-Guerni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, West Side Highway's Rafik Adjani got control of the ball when Fouad Hamdani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lakhdar Ouadah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Fouad Hamdani fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafik Adjani, passed just outside the right post. Cheb Hamruche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Saïd-Guerni having to interfere. There was no doubt that West Side Highway were the better team. West Side Highway's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
