Spectators: 7369 (Terracing: 5528, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Said Belkacem took the kick off in the first half of the match. Noureddine Radjef's late challenge caught a Aridni FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noureddine Radjef helped the player get up and apologised. Noureddine Radjef kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Hakim Djura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aridni FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakim Djura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Belhagj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cheb Djura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lounès Piaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgemere's Said Belkacem in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aridni FC's goalie prevented a goal. Edgemere's Edmond Belhagj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakim Djura in the 14th minute of play. If Said Belkacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Kamel Matmour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Edgemere's goalkeeper Edmond Belhagj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdelaziz Benhamou. After 26 minutes, Said Belkacem made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aridni FC's Lounès Piaf tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgemere's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hakim Djura 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Djura in the 36th minute of play forced Aridni FC's goalkeeper Lounès Piaf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Kamel Matmour dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edmond Belhagj, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hakim Djura made the kick off in the second half. Hakim Djura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edmond Belhagj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakim Djura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Thelma Abrika was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edgemere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aridni FC the free kick. Thelma Abrika kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Edgemere's Cheb Djura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lounès Piaf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Edgemere's goal looked a bit too open when Hakim Djura came free, but Edmond Belhagj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Cheb Djura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edgemere's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheb Djura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lounès Piaf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Aridni FC's zone, Cheb Djura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lounès Piaf came out of the goal and Cheb Djura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Said Belkacem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmond Belhagj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelaziz Benhamou, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Aridni FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Edgemere for a fine match.
